What Makes You Happy in Life?
Date : By
Don’t just live the same day over and over, the same month, the same year. Figure out what makes you happy and act on it! What result do you want? What kind of life would make you happy? If that’s not possible now, then what do you have to do to get there?
A Boring Life is a Stressful Life
You must have figured it out by now – routine work is not only boring, it’s actually draining too. This is especially true if you are doing the same thing over and over for many years now. So when it comes to the point when you are no longer happy, ask yourself if this is really what you want with your life.
If you’re always stressed out and can’t even get a goodnight’s sleep because you’re thinking about tackling the same things, the same concerns the next day – then you REALLY have a problem. You need to rest your body and your mind every night!
Money is Not Worth Dying For
For a lot of people, working for money is worth sacrificing for. Well, maybe it is, but money is definitely not worth dying for. If you are laboring every day of your life for something that doesn’t fulfill you or make you happy, you are just slowly killing yourself. No, of course, you don’t want that. And the sooner you realize that, the sooner you can get out of that dreadful situation.
Is it your job? If your work is giving you stress and worries in life, leave it and find a better one. Yeah, I mean it, because like I said, it’s not worth dying for. I would even suggest getting a lower paying job that makes you happy. But of course, a higher paying job would be better. (LOL)
Or even better yet – you can start your own business. Now, this may be more challenging than just getting a regular job, but it’s all worth it, because it’s yours. Also, you will surely love what you’re doing because you are running a business on something that you are passionate about.
In both cases (getting a better job or starting your own business), you can be sure that you will be happier, more fulfilled and even richer. Well, of course you’ll have more financial stability if you run your own business. Not only will you earn profits from your Company, but no one can fire you out too. See? The whole set up is obviously less stressful than having a “job”.
Getting Out of the Victim Mentality
If you don’t think you can do it, well, first of all, I want to ask you – why? Because the way I see it, you can do anything if you set your heart and mind to it. Sorry, but I hear a lot of lame excuses for not starting a business, and that’s what they are – lame excuses!
If you are one of those people who happen to have a LOT of excuses on why you can’t succeed on your own, I am telling you right now that you need a change of attitude. I happen to know for a fact that you are stronger than you think, and it’s time that you believe it too. Don’t stay in that “victim” mentality where your mind tells you that you don’t have what it takes to succeed on your own, because that’s just wrong.
When There’s a Will There’s a Way
Most of the time, you will have to deal with money and time problems, especially if you are currently employed. If that is the case, work around those problems. You can stay in your job while starting your own business – as simple as that. You can do this, if you really want to.
Yeah, you can give up some of your TV or movie time, or you can wake up early to work on your own plans for your business. You can also stay up late, if that works better for you. You can even devote your lunch break to this endeavor. See what I mean – when there’s a will, there’s always a way.
The One Decision That Can Change Your Life
I am not just saying these things to convince you to agree with me. I have done the same thing in my career, and that one decision has made me happy. Yeah, from 10 years ago to today, I am happy, fulfilled, and financially stable.
I had all kinds of odd jobs then, but I also had a dream. And when I realized that I wanted to make an online business for myself, I stuck with the plan and acted on it. Yes, even when I had a regular 9 to 5 job, I would go to a coffee shop with my old reliable laptop every lunch break and work on my plan for MY business.
You see, I didn’t want to live a miserable life (at that time I was living on a friend’s couch because I couldn’t even afford an apartment). I knew that I deserved to have a better life and I really REALLY wanted to be a successful business woman. My desire to achieve financial freedom was so great that it pushed me to pursue my goals even if I was at the lowest point of my life (at this time I was $150,000 in debt).
Hey, this is the age of the Internet. You can basically learn anything you want on the Internet at your convenience. That’s what I did and I worked really hard every time I had some free time on my hands. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Live the Life You’ve Always Wanted
I am now living the life that I have always wanted (I’m a world traveler) and I help other people reach for their dreams too. It took me about a year to build my business and earn steady income, but now (after 10 years) a lot of my businesses are running on autopilot, so I don’t even need to work anymore. Yeah it’s called passive income and I teach that in my course – I call it Loving Not Working.
You can do what I have done too. It can take longer than a year for you to become financially stable, but starting is the most important thing. So if you start today, you can probably quit your job next year. Wouldn’t you like that?
Being Successful Can Make You Happy
Again, don’t delay on taking the necessary actions. Just think of it, if you had started building up your business last year, you could be quitting your job right now! So don’t delay any longer because you will only be delaying your happiness and financial freedom.
So again, what makes you happy? Find the answer to that question and then go for it!
